It is well suited to couples. Baoase has only 23 rooms, suites and villas, with a maximum of about 78 guests, so the atmosphere is intimate. The desk, ceiling fan, air conditioning, turndown service and daily housekeeping suit a longer stay. Treatments are offered in-room or at the open-air beachfront massage gazebo, and treatment reservations are made before arrival. Baoase asks for a minimum stay of 3 nights, which rises to 7 nights over the festive season.
Where will I swim, eat and relax away from the room?
Baoase has an infinity pool connected to a private white-sand bay and lagoon. A hidden hot tub sits in the middle of the pool, reached through a small cave of greenery. Snorkelling from shore to a coral nursery and kayaking are also on offer. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the beachfront restaurant, and resort guests have a dinner table reserved there. An open-air beach bar serves drinks; reserve it 24 hours ahead.
What should I know about check-in, getting there and the dress code?
Check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out is before noon. The front desk is staffed from 7 AM to 11 PM, so guests arriving later should contact the resort in advance. Curaçao International Airport is about 11 km from the resort, and private airport transfers can be arranged through Guest Relations. The dress code is casual by day and smart casual to elegant casual for dinner. Pets are not permitted.
